Our state government needs strong ethics reform, period.

New Mexico lacks basic accountability and transperency in many aspects of government. We also lack a watch dog guarding the Roundhouse in Santa Fe .

Right now, we need:

-An independent commission to investigate complaints against state officials
-Publicly financed campaigns for legislative offices 
-Government benchmarking to bring measurable accountability 
-Procurement code accountability and transprency
-Open government act
-Regulator reform to set basic ground rules for all those who interact with the government to combat favortism in the rulle making process.
-Economic incentive accountability to ensure we keep the those that create jobs, and get ride of the special handouts to failing businesses
