Community Trail Workshop is THIS Saturday, March 13, 11am – 1:30pm, at the Cesar Chávez Community Center. Over the past several months, we have identified ‘potential’ Community Trail segments in the Southeast Heights (the green lines on the attached map). The primary goal of this workshop is for participants to provide recommendations as to which streets should become part of the final Community Trail. This fall, we will create a guide showing the “Trail” – indicating the more walkable streets in the area – along with pedestrian safety information in English, Spanish, and Vietnamese. Additionally, the planning group will continue to meet to provide prioritized recommended short-term and long-term infrastructure improvements to the sidewalks and streets in the area.
